Medium voltage power factor correction capacitor (KLV)
These capacitors are designed for power factor correction and for compensating the inductive loads in the electrical grid and industrial plants. Using these capacitors results in a significant fall in reactive power required in networks. Some of the outstanding merits of high voltage power factor correction capacitors made by NTC -under the license of Iskra Slovenia- are as follows:
  • Using strip raw materials in manufacturing capacitor elements leads to improved products’ electrical and mechanical connections.
  • Use of aluminum foil with a pretty slight thickness and with folded edges as an electrode for each capacitor element.
  • Use of environmentally sound insulating oil with insignificant dielectric losses and long life span.
  • Suitable for outdoor applications because of its stainless-steel body.
  • Available with internal fuses upon customers’ request.

  3. Single-phase capacitors with two outputs for use in low-power capacitor banks and the possibility of providing unbalance detection.
