As an essential part of power transformers, several transformer bushings are fundamentally embedded in them. Noteworthy, in voltage levels above 52 kV, only condenser bushings are applicable due to the need for optimum dimensional design. Currently, we are capable of designing and producing the OIP-type condenser bushings for voltage levels between 52 and 420 kV based on the most up-to-date worldwide technologies.
In OIP, the main insulator is an oil-impregnated paper wound around a central tube. Then, grading layers of aluminum foil are placed between paper layers to create a uniform voltage distribution. Due to their excellent electrical conductivity, these grading layers guarantee uniform voltage distribution even when sudden voltage fluctuations occur. In OIP bushing transformers manufactured by NTC, high-quality kraft papers impregnated with insulating oil with higher class than II in IEC 60296 are purchased from the most globally renowned suppliers.
