Wall Bushings
Wall bushing is the equipment used to pass a current-carrying high-voltage conductor through a wall, ceiling, or a body with grounding connection. Wall bushings are also called air-to-air bushings, as both sides are exposed to air. The main applications of wall bushing are in power plants, indoor substations, cement and steel factories etc.
 
Currently, we are capable of designing and producing the OIP-type wall condenser bushings for voltage levels between 72.5 and 170 kV based on the most up-to-date worldwide technologies.
In OIP, the main insulator is an oil-impregnated paper wound around a central tube. Then, grading layers of aluminum foil are placed between paper layers to create a uniform voltage distribution. Due to their excellent electrical conductivity, these grading layers guarantee uniform voltage distribution even when sudden voltage fluctuations occur. In OIP bushing transformers manufactured by NTC, high-quality kraft papers impregnated with insulating oil with higher class than II in IEC 60296 are purchased from the most globally renowned suppliers.
